Bible Verse of the Week

Howdy Fronline Youth!  Thomas Waggoner here.  This page is completely dedicated to some of my favorite Bible verses.  About every week I will post a new verse that I either hear, or find, and a little backround information.  I would love for people to suggest verses whether it’s a comment on the website, or just tell me on Wednesdays.  Please enjoy my selections.

This week’s verse comes from Isaiah 43:25:

“I, I am the one who blots out your rebellious deeds for my sake;

your sins I do not remember.”

What the Lord is saying in this verse is what is so amazing about Him.  He forgives no matter what.  And beyond that, He not only forgives, but then He forgets that it ever happened.  I think a lot of times what drags us down in our walk with God is not forgiving ourselves, and even when we do we don’t let it go and put it out of our minds as God does.  This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t learn from our mistakes, but instead leave them behind in our past and look toward our future in heaven.   For more on this reading I suggest starting in verse 22 and reading through verse 28.
