“Five Things about the Rest of Your Life”

We’re going to try it again! This Sunday, I want to consider five important things regarding the rest of your life. 1. God has big plans for the rest of your life! 2. God isn’t going to give you all the details about the rest of your life! 3. God is getting you ready right now for the rest of your life! 4. God wants you to be faithful with the rest of your life! 5. God will never force on you His plan for the rest of your life! In preparation for Sunday, prayerfully consider these passages. It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going (Hebrews 11:8).

But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going.  I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. 

I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch.  These are the things I’ll be doing for them — sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute (Isaiah 42:16).
