“Understanding the Great Commission”

Ryan and Kelly Shaw envision every local church and ministry becoming a “Great Commission Ministry.” Ryan and Kelly have made their way from Thailand to be with us this coming Sunday.  Ryan’s message will focus on the need to activate every disciple into his or her God-given role in the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20.  This activation is to include – Extravagant Giving; Extraordinary Praying; Surrendered Going; Impassioned Mobilizing; and Anointed Advocating. I pray you can be here on Sunday to hear Ryan as he shares his heart and more deeply acquaints us with the work of their ministry through SVM2.  SVM2 mobilizes local ministries (local churches, campus ministries, Bible schools) through an international structure of “National Alliances” inspiring and training local pastors and leaders across a national context.  Currently they are represented in 11 places like Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar and Paraguay. In preparation for Sunday, prayerfully consider the God’s personal call on your life as a follower of Jesus Christ. “And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, ‘All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20) See you Sunday, pastor jamie
