We Love HoCo

What’s Love Got to Do With It?

29 Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. 30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31 (NLT)

I am very excited to kick off a brand-new series called We Love HoCo.  This series is all about Jesus’ call to love our neighbor.  Jesus lived His entire life seeking opportunities to turn his love for people into action.  God has called us to follow his example and serve those whom we call our neighbor.

In Mark 12:29-31, we should pay attention to three very important words or phrases.  One of the words we must pay attention to is the word “Love.”  The very heartbeat of serving is love.  Christ has called us to share God’s love with people and genuinely seek what is best for them.

I pray you can join us as we kick off this very important series.  I will provide more information about an exciting opportunity to serve our local community on Saturday, April 24, at an event called We Love HoCo.  I look forward to worshipping with you all.

Blessings,

Pastor Brandon
