“If Not Now, When?

My sermon title takes me back to when I was younger and living under my parents’ roof. I don’t know about you, but I grew up in a family that expected everyone to work. Be it kitchen duties, laundry, running the vacuum, or helping with yardwork, we were expected to contribute to the well-being of the family.

At times, after a season of procrastination to get my chores finished, my mom or dad would ask a familiar question, “Jamie, if not now, when?” When we got to where that question had to be asked, I knew it was time to get off the couch and finish the task before me.

I hope you can be with us this coming Sunday as we consider four troubling truths about procrastination.
