“Reach Out!”

I looked up the phrase “reach out” and found it refers to “stretching out one’s arm in order to touch or grasp something.”  Additionally, it’s defined as “seeking to establish contact or communication with someone.”

This coming Sunday, we’ll be looking at what it means to reach out to the world with the Good News of Jesus. There are many examples in the Bible of people being called by God to reach out. Two examples that immediately come to mind are Isaiah and Jonah. Isaiah responded rightly by saying to God, “Here am I.  Send me.”

What did Jonah do? Yeah, he ran!

Scripture is clear, all believers are to reach out to those around them with the Good News of Jesus and, just like Isaiah and Jonah, we get to decide how, or if, we’re going to respond to that call. On Sunday we’ll discover what it means to reach out and look at four principles that will make our outreach more fruitful. I hope you can join us for the third message in our present series – REACH!

See you Sunday,
