Leaving Your Comfort Zone

When Opportunity Knocks

Author Neale Walsch was once quoted as saying, “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

Although I would take things a step further and say that life TRULY begins at the end of yourself and when Jesus enters your heart, I do believe that his quote carries a lot of truth in it.  Many miss out on a lot of the life God intended for them because they were content with resting in their own comfort zones.

This begs the question, “How does one leave his or her comfort zone?”  I believe that leaving a comfort zone requires that we are ready to respond When Opportunity Knocks.  When opportunity comes knocking at the doors of our lives, it often brings with it the chance to leave our comfort zones.  When God places opportunities in our lives, how can we identify them?

I hope to answer some of those questions with you this coming Sunday as we look at the story of Esther, a short book found in the Old Testament.  Such a great story, and so many things in the story that point us to Jesus.

I hope you can join us this coming Sunday as we kick off our new series Leaving Your Comfort Zone.

Looking forward to worshiping with you,

Pastor Brandon
