I pray that you have been blessed and encouraged as we have gone through the “Confidence in Chaos” sermon series. As we arrive at the final week, I am so excited to remind us all that God keeps his promises, and He has promised us that He is coming again!!! And when He returns, He will reward those who are faithful and will judge all of that which is evil.
In this series we have defined chaos as the random, baffling, seemingly pointless circumstances that seem to hit our lives and leave us confused, angry, overwhelmed, frustrated, or helpless. I am sure there are others like me who in times of chaos have simply asked, “Jesus, aren’t you ready to come back and get us yet?”
Praise God there is confidence to be found in the patience of God! I want to take some time on Sunday to celebrate in the promises that God has made to us that Jesus is coming again!! As we wait for that glorious day, we have many things that we can find confidence in, but there is still much work to be done.
I pray that you can join us this coming Sunday. I also hope that you will read 2 Peter 3:8-15 between now and then and allow God to prepare your heart for what He wants you to hear and apply to your life from this passage. I look forward to worshipping with you all this coming Sunday.
