Sinners or Servants?

John C. Maxwell was once quoted as saying:

“The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes.  That’s the day we truly grow up.”

Here is the reality of the matter – there is absolutely nothing that can change the truth that GOD IS GOOD!  His love, His mercy, His grace, all of it poured out so freely through Christ’s suffering for our sins.  Nothing can change that truth!

Unfortunately, the truth, however, doesn’t always change one’s attitude toward Christ and the reality of his suffering.  In 1 Peter 4, it explains that it is at the moment when we find ourselves at a crossroad that our direction is determined by the attitude we choose to have toward Christ and His suffering.  This crossroad will determine how we respond to Our Good God: Will we choose to be SINNERS or SERVANTS?

I pray you can join us this coming Sunday as we gather to worship Our Good God.  We will continue to look into 1 Peter and have the opportunity to ask Christ to continue working in our lives to make us look more like Him, and less like the world.  I pray you can be a part of the morning.

Grateful,

Pastor Brandon
