“Five Lessons for Lasting Love”

In conjunction with our 2023 XO Marriage Conference, I’ll be sharing a message focusing on relationships this coming Sunday. I’m calling the message, Five Lessons for a Lasting Love.

I will focus on five teachings of Jesus from the book of Matthew.  I can’t think of a better place to look than God’s Word when asking, “How do we build a lasting love in our marriages?” In prep for Sunday, I hope you’ll consider Matthew 7:24-25 where Jesus reminds us that those who listen to His teachings and follow them are like a person who builds their house on solid rock.

Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. ²⁵Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.
