Empowered to be Courageous

What a great series this has been!  We have been given so many great reminders about the Holy Spirit, and that a life filled with the Holy Spirit really is the normal Christian life.  We have been reminded that the Holy Spirit empowers us to witness, to see that the things in front of us aren’t always as they seem, to be the church God has created us to be, and to see the hurting and the opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ.

This week, I’m honored to worship with you and look at what Acts 4 says – that the Holy Spirit empowers us to be courageous.  Courageous is a word that often carries many different meanings.  When the Holy Spirit empowers us to be courageous, it might look different than you think.  I don’t know about you, but I’m guilty of not always living my life empowered to be courageous in my faith.  Even as a pastor, I often wrestle with when to speak, what to speak, and should I even speak at all?  One of the greatest gifts we receive from the Holy Spirit is courage.  I pray that you will join us this coming Sunday as we will explore Acts 4 and how we are indeed EMPOWERED TO BE COURAGEOUS.

Blessings,

Pastor Brandon
