“Worry Free!”

Worry doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.

2020 has been a year like no other in my life and, possibly, the same is true for you.

Pandemic! Economic collapse! Political upheaval! Racism and discord! Riots! Looting! Quarantines! Contact Tracing! Hurricanes! Floods! Wildfires!

Because it’s almost too much to take in, I’ve been asking myself how can I live a life marked by trust and peace rather than one marked by worry and fear?  My message on Sunday is one that’s been working on me for a long time and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you.

Before Sunday, I hope you’ll find some quiet time to sit down and read Luke 12:22-27. A key word in that passage is the word “consider.” As you read Jesus’ words, consider how you can apply what you’re reading to your life. What is Jesus telling you to do about the worries and fears trying to overwhelm you in these uncertain times?

Until Sunday,
