In this message, Pastor Jamie speaks on revival, revealing that revival is not for the lost, but for those who already belong to His family—those who are called by His name.
In this message, Pastor Jamie shows us how Character is the strength of moral fiber. On the other hand, he also shows us how a lack of character, leads to dishonesty, selfishness, and unethical behavior.
Join us in this message as Pastor Jamie explores four positive results of sound doctrine and how we, as followers of Jesus, can develop it as a guiding foundation for our lives.
In todays message we’ll explore the startling claims Jesus made about Himself—claims that demand a personal response. The miracle of the manger is not just about what happened in Bethlehem—it’s about what can happen in every heart that receives Him as Savior and Lord.
In this message, Pastor Jamie guides us through God's incredible methods, and shows how he uses the ordinary for extraordinary purposes, especially in story of Mary and Joseph.
Tiger Gordon brings an end to our study of 1 and 2 Thessalonians in this powerful message, reminding us of the apostle Paul’s major concerns and final encouragement to the early church.
Just as the Thessalonians had bought into some lies and were confused about the future (the “there and then”) and also the present (the “here and now”), it’s easy for us to lose focus as we await Christ’s return in the present day.
In this message, Tiger reminds us of three things Paul used to encourage the early church in which to intentionally persist until Christ’s return, and how we can do the same in our own time.
In 2 Thessalonians 1, Paul begins by offering encouragement to the Thessalonian believers. He says he thanks God for this young church because their faith is flourishing and their love for one another is growing. What a powerful thing to tell any believer! This body of new converts is showing very positive signs and it hasn’t been easy. They have endured persecution, trials, and tribulations that could have broken them, but they have persevered.
2 Thessalonians 1:1–12, 1 Corinthians 15:9 , Ephesians 4:29, Matthew 22:36–39, 1 Peter 5:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:2
In 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Paul writes to the believers at Thessalonica, “Comfort one another with these words.”
The comforting words Paul had written related to his reminder that Jesus is coming back! When I read Paul’s words in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, I’m also prompted ask, “Am I excited about that truth?” and, “Am I ready for His return?”
