The God Who Sends

Sermon Synopsis

In this message Pastor Jamie notes the fact that God has always been a “sending” God. He sent His Son, the Holy Spirit and the church. He also sent Abraham to a new land (Canaan). Before Abraham left the comforts of home, God blessed him so he could, in turn, be a blessing to those in the new land to which he was being sent. Like Abraham, God has blessed every believer with His presence and now asks us to go be a blessing in the “Canaans” to which we’ve been sent. God IS a sending God – the question is – have we gone to those places where God has told us to go?
