Moses was one of the greatest ministry leaders to ever serve. His conversation with God about the presence of God is one every ministry leader should read, study, and implement. Whenever the professionalization of ministry is emphasized over and above presence, it won’t be long until the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit are replaced by what Paul describes as “a form of godliness that lacks power” (2 Tim. 3:5). We pray this message inspires the ministry leader to return to the basics of ministry – with Him we will bear much fruit; but apart from Him we can accomplish nothing of lasting, kingdom value.
