I am very excited to continue our series "The True and Better..." this Sunday.  We will explore one of the more profound and prophetic moments in all of Scripture — the story of Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah.  At first glance, it’s a test of faith and obedience between a father and his son.  But when we dig deeper, we discover it’s so much more: a divine look into the future of the ultimate sacrifice that would come through God the Father and His only Son, Jesus.

Join us this Sunday as we unpack the divine parallels between Isaac and Jesus — from the willing son carrying wood to be used in preparing a sacrifice, to the father’s heart in the face of tremendous loss — and see how this ancient story points us to the gospel with life-changing clarity.  Jesus is the true and better Isaac, who not only walked up the hill, but became the Perfect Sacrifice provided for us all.
