Dear FFC Family,

This Sunday we’ll be looking at one of the most challenging conversations Jesus ever had with His followers, found in John 6:60–69. After miraculously feeding the crowds, Jesus declared that He Himself is the Bread of Life. His words offended many, and some chose to walk away. But others, like Peter, stayed and declared: “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.”

The message is titled Does This Offend You? Together we’ll explore:

• Why the words of Jesus can feel hard to receive.
• How salvation is a gift of the Spirit, not something we earn.
• Why some fall away when faith feels costly.
• What it looks like to stand steadfast and say, “I’ve decided to follow Jesus.”

I encourage you to read John 6:60–69 before Sunday and prepare your heart. Ask yourself When the gospel confronts me, will I resist it, or will I receive it? Will I walk away, or will I walk closer?

I believe God has something powerful to say to us through His Word this week. Let’s come ready to worship, to be challenged, and to be encouraged in Christ.
