Friday Focus - April 17, 2026

This Sunday we continue our Second Chance series — but we’re asking a different question.

John 5:1-8: Jesus meets a man who has been stuck for 38 years.  When He speaks to him, everything changes, but not in the way you might expect.  There’s one specific instruction Jesus gives that seems simple but carries more meaning than it first appears.

Before Sunday, take a moment to reflect:

• Where in my life have I felt stuck longer than I expected?
• Where might I be explaining my situation instead of expecting God to move?
• What if God wants to use the very thing I’ve been ashamed of as part of my testimony?

A second chance isn’t about starting from scratch — it’s about God redeeming your story.
