Friday Focus - March 20, 2026

Luke 12:22-34: Jesus stops on the road and tells his disciples the truth: You're carrying too much.  Anxiety about tomorrow.  Treasure you're clinging to.  Weight that's slowing you down.

"Do not worry ... You cannot take it with you ... Where your treasure is, there your heart will be."

Before Sunday, ask yourself:

• What am I anxious about that reveals I'm trusting something other than God?
• If I died today, what happens to all the stuff I've been accumulating?
• Am I traveling through this life like a pilgrim, or settling in like this is home?

You can't walk the road to Jerusalem carrying the weight of worry and treasure. The journey demands you travel light.
